My Journey

My journey began at the Australian Institute of Music, where I earned an Advanced Diploma in Flute and Studio Teaching. I had the privilege of playing the flute with the Sydney Youth Orchestra and the Penrith Orchestra, among other flute choirs, quartets, and bands.

I started my professional career repairing and servicing flutes for David Leviston at Musicorp and Flute Fidelity. During my 7-year tenure there, I was trained under Angus McEwan and Andrew Berrington, and I had the opportunity to work on instruments from the Sydney Symphony and Opera Orchestras and the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra.

In 2008, I embarked on a new journey by starting my own repair workshop on the Northern Beaches called Repairs On The Hill. Over the years, I’ve had the honor of working with notable musicians and conductors, including James Morrison, Jane Rutter, Rosalie Bourne and Patrick Brennan.
